Different type of determine of the pH value- Textile Farm

Importance of textile Testing:

Textile testing is important mainly for customer satisfaction of textile product as well as to ensure product quality.
Testing is valuable aid for textile production we can research work, selection of raw materials, process control, process development by testing, Textile testing is extremely important in determining the quality and performance of product.

Determine of the pH value: Iso3071
Aim and application:
Determine  the pH value of the aqueous extract of textile material’s.

Determine of the pH value: Iso3071 Aim and application: Determine the pH value of the aqueous extract of textile material’s. APPARATUS REQUIRED: 01. Balance accurate to 0.05g, to weigh 2g of the material to be tested. 02. Glass beakers, chemically resistant: of capacity 250ml. 03. Glass stopper flasks, chemically resistant of capacity 250 ml. 04. Distilled or detonated water having pH between5.0-6.5. 05. Measuring cylinder chemically resistant, capacity 250 ml. 06. Mecjamical shaler. A to and for movement at a tate of 60 miri-l or a rataional frequency 30min – I have been found satisfactory. 07. pH meter, discriminating to at least 0,05 in pH and suitable electrode system. Procedure: 01. Tale 2 g of the fabric to be tested and cut it into pieces with approx. 5mm sides. 02. Place the cutted pieces in to the glass stopper flask. 03. Add 100 ml of the distilled water of the STOPPER AND AGITATE TO ENSURE THE THXTILE is properly wetted out. 04. place on the mechanical shaker, and shake for two hours at a rate of 60rpm. Evaluation: Measure the pH value of the solution by inserting the pH meter into the glass flask. Wait until the reading has settled before taking and recording the result.

APPARATUS REQUIRED:

06.   Mechanical shaker. A to and for movement at a rate of 60 miri-l or a rotational frequency 30min – I have been found satisfactory.
07.   pH meter, discriminating to at least 0,05 in pH and suitable electrode system.

Procedure:

01.   Tale 2 g of  the  fabric to be tested and cut it into pieces with approx. 5mm sides.
02.   Place the catted pieces in to the glass stopper flask.
03.   Add 100 ml of the distilled water of the STOPPER AND AGITATE TO ENSURE THE textile is properly whetted out.
04.   place on the mechanical shaker, and shake for two hours at a rate of 60rpm.

Evaluation:

Measure the pH value of the solution by inserting the pH meter into the glass flask. Wait until the reading has settled before taking and recording the result.
